The Sporting Sale 2019
Copley’s Sporting Sale realized over $3 million in sales. The auction, consisting of 547 lots, was a solid 88% sold. The sale featured approximately 200 decoys from Session One of The Dr. Morton D. Kramer Estate, as well as selections from the Collections of Ted and Judy Harmon of Decoys Unlimited, Rusty and Dianna Johnson, Donald Kirson, Grant Nelson, Dr. S. Lloyd Newberry, Herb Wetanson, and others.
The top three decoy lots of the auction were the Harmon “Dust Jacket” Plover Trio by A. Elmer Crowell of East Harwich, Massachusetts, which brought a combined $1.14 million.
