Absentee Bid Results
Copley will email all absentee bidders with their results immediately after the sale.

Invoices
Invoices will be emailed after the sale. A hard copy is available on request. Payment is due and payable upon receipt of invoice and a monthly service charge of 1.5% will be added to unpaid balances beginning 30 days after the sale date.

Payment
Payment may be made by cash, check, or wire transfer. As a convenience, Copley will accept credit cards for auction purchases, but there a 3% convenience fee will be added to your invoice . Please contact the office for wire transfer instructions. Checks should be made payable to Copley Fine Art Auctions and mailed to 65 Sharp Street in Hingham, MA, 02043.

Sales tax All purchases are subject to the Massachusetts sales tax of 6.25% unless:
1) the purchaser possesses a Massachusetts sales tax exemption or resale number and registers that number with Copley before a sale. Dealers registered in Massachusetts should fill out the Massachusetts ST-4 Sales Tax Resale Certificate Form and submit it with a copy of their resale certificate.  

2) the purchaser is an out-of-state vendor who submits an Out-Of-State Resale Form along with a copy of the out-of-state certificate and a business card or letterhead. 

or 3) has purchases shipped out-of-state by an interstate carrier and submits an Out-Of-State Delivery and Authorized Shipping Release Form. Please note that purchasers may be subject to and responsible for the payment of use tax in their state.

Shipping
Copley does not offer in-house packing or shipping. For clients who require shipping, please complete the Shipping Release Form and return it with your payment. The form includes a list of shippers we frequently work with. If you would like a quote before choosing a shipper, please contact the shippers directly. If you know which shipper you would like to use, return the form with your payment and Copley will contact your shipper to arrange pick up of your lot(s). Please note, a daily storage fee of $5 will be charged for items not picked up within 30 days of the date of sale.

Pick Up
Items can be picked up at our office by appointment starting five days after our auction. We kindly ask that all items be picked up for shipment within 30 days of the date of sale. A daily storage fee of $5 will be charged for items not picked up by that time.
